This past holiday season on of Kelli’s gift projects were for a four legged family pal named Cody. Cody is a dog, a cute dog, and each year he exchanges gifts with our parrot Boomer at the family Christmas party.
One of Cody’s gifts was a new dog toy. What Cody doesn’t know is that it was 100% free to make. Free! Can’t beat that, right?
How to make a knotted dog toy from a t-shirt for free
1. Find 2 old t-shirts in your closet, or buy 2 cheaply at a thrift store
2. Cut the neckline, the bottom hem and the sleeves off
3. Lay the 2 shirts on top of each other
4. Roll them up and tie them in a tight knot
5. Cut the ends into 1 to 1.5″ strips (you do not have to be precise, just cut away!)
There you have it – done!
